Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the terms and conditions for your use of the Northern Lights Alaska (NLAK) website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate termination of your access to the Service and may expose you to civil and criminal liability.

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Engage in any activity that constitutes or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law

2.2 Harmful or Malicious Activities

• Transmit, distribute, or store material containing viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or other harmful or malicious code, files, scripts, agents, or programs
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or the data contained therein
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service
• Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Service for any purpose without NLAK's express written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Service
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based upon the Service

2.3 Prohibited Content

• Transmit, distribute, or store material that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, or threatening
• Transmit, distribute, or store material that violates the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights
• Transmit, distribute, or store material that is false, misleading, or deceptive
• Transmit, distribute, or store material that promotes illegal activities or provides instructions for illegal activities
• Transmit, distribute, or store material that contains hate speech or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age

2.4 Unauthorized Access and Interference

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair NLAK's servers or networks
• Use the Service to violate the security of any computer network, crack passwords or security encryption codes, or transfer or store material that is deemed threatening or obscene

2.5 Commercial and Competitive Use

• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without NLAK's express written consent
• Use the Service to compete with NLAK or to develop competing products or services
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or any portion thereof
• Use the Service to collect or harvest information about users of the Service
• Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial email or "spam"

2.6 Impersonation and Misrepresentation

• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the Service to impersonate NLAK or any NLAK employee, agent, or representative
• Forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any content transmitted through the Service

3. Intellectual Property

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, sell, or exploit in any way any content from the Service without the express prior written consent of NLAK. Unauthorized use of NLAK's content may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws and may result in civil and criminal penalties.

4. Data Collection and Scraping

You may not use any automated system, including but not limited to robots, spiders, scrapers, or similar data gathering and extraction tools, to access, acquire, copy, or monitor any portion of the Service or any content, without NLAK's express prior written consent. You may not collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from the Service.

5. System Resources

You may not use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair NLAK's servers or networks, or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Service. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service.

6. Enforcement

NLAK reserves the right to investigate violations of this AUP and may involve and cooperate with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who violate this AUP. NLAK reserves the right to remove, edit, or refuse to post any content that violates this AUP, and to terminate or suspend access to the Service for any user who violates this AUP, without prior notice.

Violation of this AUP may result in:

• Immediate termination of your access to the Service
• Legal action, including but not limited to civil and criminal prosecution
• Liability for damages, including but not limited to attorneys' fees and costs
• Reporting to appropriate law enforcement authorities

8. Changes to This Policy
